Field Experience Sites

Child Health Services Non-profit health program for children from families in the Greater Manchester areas who cannot afford to use traditional health care systems or cannot make it adapt to their needs.

Global Health Council Advocates for needed policies and resources, building networks and alliances among those working to improve health, and communicating innovative ideas, knowledge, and best practices in the health field.

International Institute of New Hampshire Fosters the success of immigrants and refugees by providing a range of comprehensive professional and cultural services.

Manchester Community Health Center Provides primary healthcare services to approximately 5,500 children and adults in Manchester.

Manchester Health Department Improves the health of individuals, families, and the community through disease prevention, health promotion and protection from environmental threats.

New Hampshire Minority Health Coalition A coalition of individuals working in the community to prevent disease and promote health among racial/ethnic minorities and other populations whose access to health care services has been limited.

The Hitchcock Alliance A collaboration of independent providers including local and regional hospitals, mental health centers, and home health care agencies.

UNICEF-EAPRO Bangkok, Thailand UNICEF is committed to ensuring special protection for the most disadvantaged children - victims of war, disasters, extreme poverty, all forms of violence and exploitation and those with disabilities.

The North Country Health Consortium The North Country Health Consortium (NCHC) was created in 1997 as a vehicle for addressing common issues through collaboration among health and human service providers serving Northern New Hampshire. NCHC member organizations are engaged in activities to build a regional health care system.

Public School Health Nurses School nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety; intervene with actual and potential health problems; and provide case management services.

Community Health Institute The CHI provides management and clinical consulting, marketing and strategy, information referral, program and policy development, information systems assistance, and evaluation services to improve access to and the quality of health and social services.

North Country Cares Implements inter-agency collaboration that assures an accessible, cost-effective, responsive and quality health care system for individuals, families and employers in the North Country.

White River Junction VA Hospital Initiative to provide out-patient services to Veterans in rural areas.

Good Neighbor Health Clinic A non-federally supported public clinic for underserved populations.

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center A non-profit community hospital and health center in Windsor, Vermont. Member of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Alliance.

Gifford Hospital A community medical center in Randolph, Vermont with family health centers in Bethel, Chelsea, Rochester, and South Royalton. Member of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Alliance.

HIV Clinic DHMC, Manchester/Bedford, a community medical practice offering a full array of primary care and specialty care services.

Navaho Health Foundation/Sage Memorial Hospital A tribally owned hospital in Gallup, New Mexico.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Advanced Response Team(DHART)  Based in Lebanon, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, DHART provides ground and air medical transportation services to the medical communities of Northern New England. In addition, DHART flight crews respond to public safety agency requests for medical evacuation.

Hood Center A DHMC program that improves the support capacities of families with members who experience disabilities and chronic health challenges; contribute to the self-determination of persons with disabilities, chronic health conditions and their families; and, establishes reliable alliances between families, professionals, and communities.

Mammography Network Breast cancer registry for the State of New Hampshire.

Maine Medical Center A community hospital whose mission is: Caring for our community; Educating tomorrow's caregivers; Researching new ways to provide care.
